Privacy policy

The Counting account service is run by Counting LLC and lets you use one account across Counting's apps. This page says what it keeps, for how long, and what you control. What each app stores is in that app's own policy.
What we keep
- Your account: email, name and picture, plus the link to your Google account if you sign in with Google.
- Teams: the teams you're in, your role and invitations.
- Sign-in sessions and the agent tokens you create. Tokens are stored as hashes only.
- Basic preferences you choose to save: language, time zone, what to call you and reply style. They aren't shared by default, and each app needs your consent.
- AI credit usage and its ledger.
- App waitlists and access records: which apps you applied to and used.
- Mail records: recipient, subject and delivery status, not the body.
- An audit log: important actions, their time and IP address.
Who else receives it
- Apps you sign in to receive your account details and teams. They receive basic preferences only with your consent.
- Email is sent through Resend, Google sign-in is handled by Google, DNS is provided by Cloudflare, and the service runs on Oracle Cloud.
- We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Account data is kept for as long as your account exists, until you delete your account or ask us to delete it.
- When you start a deletion on the account page, you have 30 days to change your mind. After that we delete your account data from live systems and tell connected apps to delete theirs.
- You can also email us to ask for deletion, and we'll delete your data from live systems within 30 days.
- Copies in backups are removed as backups rotate out, within a further 30 days.
- The audit log is kept for 400 days for security and troubleshooting. After an account is deleted, the audit log and credit ledger keep only the account ID, not your email or name, and your address is removed from mail records.
- Data we must keep to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce our terms is kept for as long as that's needed.
What you control
- On the account page you can change your details, manage tokens and preferences, and withdraw an app's access to your preferences.
- You can export your data. The export is kept for 7 days.
- You can delete your account. We'll show you what it affects first.
Children
- The service isn't for children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA and UK). If we learn we've collected data from a child below that age, we delete it.
